    • Remove space between usernames
      Create a checkbox setting "Remove space between usernames"
      Look this;

      //If lastname is not empty
      if( !empty($last_name) ) {
      $username .= '' . $last_name;
      }

      Default: $username .= '-' . $last_name;

      Put a setting so that users can choose whether to remove the space in the username

    • GDPR (addition)
      Good afternoon. I would like to request an extension for GDPR functionality from you. In your current version, the user can only read the privacy policy (privacy policy). this is sufficient for the United States, and in Russia, according to the law, the person must read the privacy policy and the user agreement for the processing of their personal data. Please add another tab to the settings, the same functionality as you did for the privacy policy, so that we can add a link to the user agreement page. It is also required that the user can check the box before registering, thereby expressing their consent to the site's privacy policy and they also agree to the user agreement for the processing of their personal data.

    • Supporting GDPR
      Hi

      One of the main aspects of GDPR (that comes into force 25 May 2018) is that users must give consent (preferably via checkbox) to the privacy policy of the site they are signing up for.

      Are you planning on including some way of adding a GDPR/Privacy Policy checkbox to WooCommerce Social Login when user signs up? If a checkbox could be offered alongside the social icons that would be ideal. Also some way for user to click link to see the Privacy Policy would be required.

      Ideally, it should have a checkbox and a bit of text that says something like “I consent to the Privacy Policy” with a link to the site’s Privacy Policy page. Maybe the text could be user definable in settings?

      The user should only be asked this when they are signing up, so would be ideal to have this available via short code option also.

      I think WordPress themselves might have to make some changes for GDPR such as storing a user field that states when user consented to Privacy Policy, so there might be a WordPress update soon which does this and you could save the date there.

      Maybe it’s a good idea to be prepared for the GDPR deadline of 25 May and see what WordPress does before it.

      Cheers
      Pat Walsh
