Maybe one more reason to implement it immmediately: Your plugin is listed as WCFM compatible. We use WCFM Marketplace and therefore also the coupon functions. IN WCFM within a coupon it is possible to define the vendor for which coupon is valid! So WCFM has this option to assign a coupon to a store when adding from the admin dashboard.

So in my opinion it would be a great advantage for your plugins compatibility if the functionality is also usable for products such as gift vouchers created by the vendors themselves.
