Ability to use External Images (CDN) for posting to Instagram and Pinterest
As of now, we can only post to Instagram and Pinterest using images that are stored on our own servers. If you have 100’s or 1000’s of images to post, they will slow down your website a lot. So I would love for you to add the ability to post our external featured images to Instagram and Pinterest.

Hi There,
We have added this feature in the latest version 2.8.1
Now, plugin having an Ability to use External Images (CDN) for posting to Instagram and Pinterest.
Enjoy the new release. :)
Thanks

Hi, thanks for adding this feature! I tried posting to Instagram and Pinterest, but it still doesn’t seem to work. Is there anything I have to do to enable it?

Yes, it would be great if you can add a feature that will check if the photo is external, and if it is, it will copy it to a temp directory on the server, and then post it. Once it is posted the plugin can delete the picture from the server. I think such a feature will be beneficial to a lot of people because these days everybody is using CDN’s to host their images.

Hello
Thank you for your suggestion.
We can do this by copy image to your server and then use it for posting. by default API don’t support for external images.
Thanks & Regards
