PDF voucher validation restricted on primary vendor user

We have been using pdf vouchers since a few days and are facing currently the issue that it is not possible to set coupon validation to only ONE vendor with ALL his current and future created products.

Using field product validation in coupon is not really an option for us, because if our customers buy coupons today and vendor creates new products next week, then coupons won`t apply onto these new products. Therefore we would permanently have to change the unredeemed coupons to add new products in coupon validation, BUT this is also not possible. Fields for product validation are greyed out for existing coupons and are therefore not changeable. In WooCommerce coupons this functionality is given.

Therefore in our opinion there must be the possibility that coupon is valid for single vendor with all his products (current and in future). Otherwise we could not use pdf voucher in our multi vendor online shop.

We would kindly ask you to implement this functionality which is by the way an advantage in comparison to WooCommerce standard coupon.

Thank you and regards

Any update on this issue? We would still need this functionality, thank you.

As an alternative maybe we have one far easier option: In our opinion it could be sufficient to additionally check the “primary vendor user” when customer tries to redeem voucher in online store. Would this be possible, do you have a snippet for that?

    Thank you in advance,

    Hello Norris,

Thank you for your reply. I would really appreciate to have this feature implemented 🙂

Maybe one more reason to implement it immmediately: Your plugin is listed as WCFM compatible. We use WCFM Marketplace and therefore also the coupon functions. IN WCFM within a coupon it is possible to define the vendor for which coupon is valid! So WCFM has this option to assign a coupon to a store when adding from the admin dashboard.

So in my opinion it would be a great advantage for your plugins compatibility if the functionality is also usable for products such as gift vouchers created by the vendors themselves.

    Thank you!
