Post Twitter links as shared links (summary w/ large image)

Many plugins allow the ability to share on twitter by utilizing the URL which in turn will populate the post in twitter. (as opposed to the link now not generating the article within Twitter. Has this been looked at as a potential update? Thanks! Big fan so far!
